The medal is an Afghanistan award that was given "from the grateful afghanistan people" primarily to Soviet personnel. The award was produced by the Soviet Union on behalf of the Aghanistan government.

And for at least the last 10 years is has been given a five-sided suspension (with a solid blue ribon the same color in the screwback suspension) so it can be worn on the left side with all the other medals (after the Soviet/RF awards, of course).

I saw that medal, and the 15th comm. medal too, but the medals are postsoviets..

What do you think about this medals? All medals are from the same seller and I want your opinions.

Agree... still they're needed to make a collection complete and make a good start for a decent collection.
