That you think this hat?

I am no expert at generals caps, but I don't like it.
1.It's VV MVD cap (at least it seems so), and existence of this caps is doubtful, tough that fact itself doesn't mean anything.
2.It has a dimond-shaped label, which was almost (in 99% of cases) never seen on generals' caps.
3.Sweatband looks somewhat crude. Also it looks as if it is made of the material used in 50's and 60's, while the cap is later.

It does not look good to me: general construction, sweatband, embroideries, etc.

I have to agree with the above two opinions...it is not well put together, the materials are not high quality, and the embroidery looks a lot like the modern Ukrainian work.

MVD generals caps / items are out there; i have sold in the past year a nice blood-red piped MVD overcoat and an MVD generals service tunic. Rare, but they do show up now and then.

:thumbsdown I would not go so far as to say it is a fake, but the materials look questionable.

Thanks for your comments, although this might not have made me very happy :). I am hoping to make some pictures and contrast this cap, which does not seem original, which I have with another that it is. When you have to send the photos to confirm your opinion.
