Got it off E a little while ago, and since I've returned after a bit of time off I will post all the wonderful new goodies I've gotten since! :)

I'm so surprised I actually got this cap too! For only 30 bucks including shipping! :D

Finally got my hands on a true blue officers cap! And in a size 59 as well! :)

A full Soviet militia uniform! Well, save for the cap and I guess the shirt, but I already have those, so I am very happy to find this set of tunic and pants at such a low price of 50 bucks including shipping.

I have yet to recieve these two in the mail yet, but I ordered them.
Mainly because A. I will probably never own a genuine Tsarist cap. And B. Its pretty cheap!

And I also wanted one of these fake KGB Generals visors as kind of a reference item, haha.

And knowing the Ukrainian postal service, this will probably take a while before they arrive.

I don't know about now, but in the early 1990s, the militia officers on the street still wore the same uniform that you have in post #4 - often with the old "gerb" insignia still on the lapels. Seeing that brings back mixed memories since street cops were "for sale" in Moscow back then. In fact, they ran their own form of "protection" rackets on most of the local kiosk owners.

I digress.:)

You got some serious deals. That is the first enlisted man's KGB visor I have seen other than in pictures (and for $30 no less).
