It may be cap that was made for the soviet soldier abroad. The word on the label doesn't seem to make any sense at all, neither if we consider it cyrilic nor latin alphabet (at least I have trouble with it). It is probably the name of the owner. Could You check what date is there on the buttons (on the back of them), how they are attached (doesn't have to help at all, but there's a chance...) and what is the badge made of. btw. The sweatband isn't leather, is it?
