Jubilee Medal "20 Years Of The Organs Of The Committee For State Security".

The Jubilee Medal "20th Anniversary Of The Organs Of The Committee For State Security" was the third of the trio of 20th anniversary Medals instituted on 22nd August 1964. Unlike the Army and MVR counterparts this was not awarded in the thousands more likely in the dozens rather than hundreds. Many of the Medals on the market (and most likely this one) are left over stock released by the mint 4 or so years ago. The KDS was absorbed by the MVR in February 1969 so there were no other KDS commemoratives.
