2 uniforms... What are these?
These two jackets were thrown in in a medal deal. Any comments regarding what these are are most welcome. :thumbsup
The first one seems to have pre-1943 artillery collar tabs, but the jacket definately looks postwar. It doesn't have dates on the buttons or stamps. Is it a fantasy piece? Last edited by Auke; 08-19-2008 at 10:09 AM. |

The next one also doesn't have a stamp, but has '70' on the buttons... A postwar Gimnasterka with wartime shoulder boards?

pullover tunics
Auke,
Looks like you got two good re-enacting pullover tunics; not bad if you want to do an inexpensive display. DougD |

Re: 2 uniforms... What are these?
It depends on how you define fake; if they were sold to you as being genuine WWII issue, then yes, they are not that. But they look like they were made with original parts (other than those buttons on the first pullover) for re-enacting.
The fact they were thrown in another deal also tends to support the idea they were not seen buy the seller as original WWII issue. DougD |

That's what I suspected... Thanks, I think I might be able to sell them to a reenactor. :thumbsup
