Stalin Badge.

Anyone know anything about this badge? I've only run into a couple, and both were priced upwards of 100 bucks, which seem ludicrous. However I ran into one elsewhere for quite a bit less, but not knowing anything about it I figured I'd ask here. =)

Firstly this Badge is not Soviet but Bulgarian - another Badge made by 1st DZLF - http://soviet-awards.com/forum/sovie...tml#post219875

I forget just what "DZLF" is but they made many bits in the early to mid 1950's in Sofia.

Secondly this is probably not an award but a "memento" in memory of Comrade Stalin most likely from late 1953.

I'd put a price on this of about $8-$12. 50-75% more if an actual award with paperwork.

As an update I believe "1st DZLF" is the 1st State Badge Enterprise Factory which became the State Industrial Enterprise "Commune" in the mid 1950's. Notice the similarity in DZLF and DIPK screwplates.
