Patrik,
As a fellow seller I think you need to be more careful in your descriptions; if you can't verify through research that its Katukov, then don't say its his. You need to look throught he ribbons, etc. The fact that it does not have 2 HSU and he was a twice HSU should have been a sign as should have been the hat. Don't disparage 'experts of the west'; many (though not all!) of us have take years to learn what we now know and often know alot more than the Russians selling the items. If you can't take advice from those who have researched these items, then this is probably not the place for you. Also, as moderator of this part of the forum please don't post names and e-mails of others, thanks. DougD |

Hi,
sorry for the name posting, but I thought it would be the easiest way for you to check. If anyone want the name just drop me a message and I will let you know who to contact... As for being Katukovs or not - I trust my supplier 110%, as I have made business with him for a long time and purchased a lot of items! Customers are more than welcome to do their own research and match the medal ribbons with awards that were given to Katukov, as well as match the size. Also remember, that the price is fair (if it had been a documented uniform, price would be far higher). I am well aware that many of you in USA etc are very experienced, but still, as in the case with the other uniform, I cannot just remove one or more medals just because someone says it does not really fit in! regards, Patrik |

I have now taken a set of photographs, which show
a) Wear on the inside b) Shoulderboards c) Collar tabs There are some small moth bites on one arm. These images are located in a 500k zip file at XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX A note regarding feedback: in the auction on the swedish language site, it was stated that although the feedback on that particular site was zero, a much higher feedback could be seen at another well-known auction firm located in the US. This was stated from the beginning. And since the item was available at both places by seller with identical names, it would have been obvious that the feedback concerned the same seller. I am not in any way connected to the US site using an Ukrainan national symbol, and this uniform is not obtained from there. /Patrik Last edited by DougD; 06-24-2003 at 02:24 PM. |

2.5 million dollars exclusive VAT ... plus two kitchen sinks.
Seriously, I think it was about 350 USD. I dont care right now, at the moment of writing uniforms and Soviet stuff is not the most important thing in my life...  |
