Presented For Order Of The Patriotic War Second Class

7. Participation in the Civil War, subsequent military activity in defence of the USSR and Patriotic War /where, when/ From March 1943 to May 1944 Western Front. From May 1944 2nd Belorussian Front.
8. Has been wounded, contused in Patriotic War. Not Had.

11. Has received awards (for which distinction). Order Of The Red Star Order of the command of artillery 2nd Belorussian Front #016/N of 13th August 1944 Medal "For Bravery" Order 325th Guards Mortar Regiment #03 of 29th July 1943.

Comrade Sypko in battle to destroy an enemy group 8th February 1945, trying to break the connection between his units in the area of the 38th Rifle Division in the region of Shvekatovo, showing bravery and courage, the section was fighting whilst surrounded, all lines of telephone communications going to the command point and to neighbouring units were broken. Experienced and resourceful Radioist Sypko despite strong enemy fire maintained communication with his radio station to all neighbouring units and the command point over three hours of continuous battle. And when the enemy threatened to endanger the section from the right flank Comrade Sypko personally called for the fire of the second section and as a result of the performed volley, the group threatening the section of the right flank were scattered and units destroyed.

Worthy of awarding of the Order Of The Patriotic War Second Class.
