Participant in the Patriotic War, Signaller, 80th Naval Brigade, Leningrad Front, Red Navy Sailor Makedonskij during the night from 1st to 2nd May 1943 in the staff of a 5 person group recieved the task to get "language" in the region of Tajga Station. In search of enemy the group captured a Finnish soldier and presented him to the staff of the brigade.
Performing the task of seizing "language" Comrade Makedonskij 2nd May 1943 reflected three enemy attacks receiving a heavy wound to the right hand.
All subsequent enemy attacks to the approaches to the town of Kesing were beaten by the group of remaining sailors.

Worthy of presentation of the governmental award Medal "For Bravery".
