Short description of his feat of arms or accomplishments:

Prior to our infantries offensive on 25.08.1942 accurate hits from his gun destroyed an enemy motor vehicle. On 29.08.1942 changing firing position frequently and rapidly, accurately targeting and operating quickly he ensured a rapid rate of fire – In 30 minutes, from one gun / 152mm / 50 shells were released.
With a direct hit to a house on the enemy side, submachine gunners were scattered and a mortar battery suppressed.
