1960 Christmas Card.

Here is something you almost never see coming from a Communist nation - A Christmas card. This 1960 "Charity" wishes was issued by Jose Gonzalez of San Miguel Del Pedron (Havana), a private food and booze retailer.

Later on in the 1960's Fidel shut down all private enterprises and everything was nationalised as in the rest of the Communist world.

Re: 1960 Christmas Card.

"Charity" (La Caridad) is the name of the store.

Re: 1960 Christmas Card.

Here is another Christmas Card from 1960/1 from someone who would certainly have an interesting 1961. Commander of the Central Army during the "Bay Of Pigs" Major Juan Almeida Bosque.
