Jubilee Medal "10 Years Of The Armed Forces Of The P.M.R.".
Medal body is unusually thick and reads "Without Fear and Doubt."
Reverse reads "Transnistrian Moldovan Republic" in three lines. This is inexplicably rarer than other Transnistrian/Pridnistrovian awards. |

Re: Transnistrian 10th Anniversary of Armed Forces
That's gotta be as rare as hen's teeth I'd wager.

Re: Transnistrian 10th Anniversary of Armed Forces
At last... at long last... I finally got one of these yesterday; after one year and nine months of searching!!! Took less time to track down an Order of Merit!

Any more information on this out there? Mintage figures? Now I need one!

Re: Transnistrian 10th Anniversary of Armed Forces
Damn little info of any kind except for the two books printed by the PMR government; and they only cover the name of the award, an image, the date of decree and what it's for. As far as mintage... hmmmm... some of these awards are/have been made by as many as five manufacturers, so I really doubt there is an accurate figure to be had. I suppose this all goes to a country in the "start-up" phase.
Now, my next search is for the elusive "15 Years of State Security" medal. The 10 year was a fairly easy catch, but I understand the 15 year had a much, much smaller distribution. And, of course, any Customs medal.
