3. 2nd Rifle Company, 1st Rifle Company Battalion Rifleman Private Zinovii Grigorevich Beskorovainy who on 16.09.44 during the assault on the population area of Auchi (Mitave District) was the first to rush into the village, seizing an enemy German soldier attempting to fled into the forest.
