Mortar Company Gunner Onik Isakovich Movsusyan who, as a member of a mortar crew, set up his mortar in an open firing position despite heavy enemy fire and destroyed an enemy heavy machinegun, as well as a light machinegun with its crew and more than ten enemy soldiers in combat on 10 September 1943 near Novorossiisk, thus enabling our infantry to enter the enemy trench line.

Born 1911, Armenian, Party member, inducted into the Red Army by Tbilissi Municipal Military Commissariat, Kalinin St. nr. 101.
