Table Medal "250 Years Of Leningrad Mint".
I just bought this lovely 250 years of Leningrad Mint table medal.
Made of bronze. Diameter 2 1/2". It says on the front: "Leningrad Mint. Goznak. USSR Ministry of Finances. 1724-1974. 250" I love all those orders as samples of their products on the reverse of the medal! Last edited by CtahhR; 01-27-2014 at 09:10 PM. |

One more memorial medal from Leningrad Mint.
Bronze. Diameter 2 1/2". Front reads: "Founded in year 1724" Reverse of the same Mint medal. Reads: "Leningrad Mint. Goznak Ministery of Finances of USSR." I think the Mint was awarded Order of Labor Banner - hence the image of the order. Last edited by CtahhR; 01-27-2014 at 09:09 PM. |

Your last pic is a "Gift Shop" table medal... In Russia famous landmarks have these for sale to the visitors. I used to collect these in Russia when I visited new cities... Old Churches used to sell several variations: several Plastic ones in different colors and some in brass (more $$$) Rusty.
