Navy with Carmine(Raspberry)

I have this beautiful naval uniform enroute, with raspberry boards. Has anyone ever seen another like this? I will post photos once it arrives. I love the contrast between the black and pink.

I am not sure right now (no reg. book at hand), but I think it was used from 1969 to 1980.

Wow. This should be a common configuration then. I wonder why they are so uncommon(at least to me). This is the first one I have ever seen. Funny how the most common color is red(that I have seen).

It wasn't common - medical corps used that color only for about 10 years - before it was probably green (again, no reference at hand) and the uniforms didn't chnge after the colour scheme was changed, so most of the servicemen simply changed the boards, so this combination actally is rare, as many of tchem probably didn't survive in the original shape.
