hello, thisn set comes from Germany?

I can't read all because the picture is small. Is it ballpoint pen written?

He was soldier in a partisan section near Minsk. Left page is written in bielorusian, the right one in russian.

Nice document duo, although I'm guessing your ethnic Latt must have fought in Belarus.

This is an important distinction and without getting into 60-year-old politics, the Baltic peoples weren't too keen on Soviet rule and correspondingly Soviets often treated them as Nazi collaborators. Additionally, whenever you view Soviet maps showing partisan resistance centers, there are remarkably few (if any) such points indicated in the Baltic countries (compared to Russia, Ukraine, and Belorussia). Some of this is due to suitable terrain, yet...

I own several of these Belorussian documents, a Ukrainian one, and even a single Moldovan partisan document (which I posted on the forum), but has anyone seen a post-war, strictly Latvian, Lithuanian, or Estonian document for partisan unit participation done in the respective, ethnic languages?

Re: Belorussian partisan document.

Ruiz
Here is the translation of the document
ID # 457492
Lavitskaya Galina Ignat'evna
participated in the partizan movement in Belorussia during the WWII from January 28, 1944 till June 30, 1944 as a soldier-partizan force named after Kirov, Brigade #37 named after Parkhomenko of Minsk District.
Signatures
Issued on June 28, 1976
The document is in two languages: Belorussian (left) and Russian.
Ruiz, the badge does not come with this document. However, on the top of this document there is a note: The Order of Great Patriotic War 2nd Class has been awarded.

Belorussian Partisan Veteran Documents

Attached are two photos for documents issued by the Belorussian SSR to partisan veterans. The lowest serial-numbered document (037907) and highest (418872) I've encountered to date are posted here. These documents are neat because they mention the period of participation, unit, and often duty position of bearer.

I welcome any additions as I'm considering an update an update to the Soviet Partisan Documents article I wrote for JOMSA in 2000.

For those interested, 037907 was issued 14.3.88 to Laput, Grigorii Fadeevich who fought as a private in the "S.M. Kirov Detachment, "V.I. Stalin" Brigade operating in the Baranovichi Oblast 1.4.44-6.44.

418872 was issued in August 1973 to Sokolovskii, Roman Ignatevich who was a messenger in the "Invincible" Partisan Detachment, Lenin Brigade 5.5.43-12.7.44.

Hello Paul, do you remember in which precise JOMSA volume your article was published?
