hi all!

I bought a lot of orders and medals from a guy and one of them is this OL. It is not gold but gold plated silver(?). He told me this order wasn't made of gold because the USSR did not have enough gold during the soviet-Finnish war. This all sounds a bit strange but i like you opinion about this all.

There is nothing to be nervous about here, this is a medal booklet. Now, obviously, an OL would NOT be listed in it, no matter what :rolleyes:

So, getting on to the OL, this is a recently produced fake made out of light metal. The "enamel" is most likely of the cold type.

OL were always made out of gold, with the exception of the very first - tractor - type.

Is it just me or is there something strange going on with the serial number? The first "1" seems to be further away from the other numbers then the rest.

You must remember that SN were punched in by human beings, not high-precision robots. This OL is :thumbsup

Marc is right.

It doesn`t happen very often that the numbers are sloppily done on Lenins, but as he said: that`s handcrafting. This one is genuine 100%.

how about this one ? In my opinion it looks too unworn and new to be the real deal !?
