Ser. number is 901010.
My father was awarded his(3422199) in Sep,1950.
So, what about number 901010 ?

Thanks,
My files show several BMs with the s/n 899.xxx authorized by subordinate units of the 1 Baltic Front in 3.1944.

The next s/n I have is 902.xxx authorized by a unit of the 4 Ukrainian Front in 4.44.

I'm predicting the 1 Baltic Front batch went through 899.999 and the 4 Ukrainian received the batch starting 900.000.

Beauty

That's a nice BM. Looks great.
And you got lucky getting a numbered one. They are, IMHO, worth so much more than unnumbered medals.

I'll trade ya my unnumbered BM if ya want.
I have an appointment right now but when I get back I'll post some images. :)
Note the recent, cheap aluminum suspension and the slight tear in the lower left hand side of the new ribbon.

Looks OK to me. A late Type 2 V1.
Hard to tell but is most of the enamel missing?
