The inscription says: "Winner of Socialist Compertition in Publishing Industry". Names on the small red books are Stalin, Lenin, Marx and Engels. Not surprisingly Stalin's book is the top one, even higher up than Lenin's! It's probably pre-war issue. Best, William |
