Badge "Druzhinnik".

This badge and document set is quite early (1962). The badge is no different than the Russian badge of the period- brass, hot enamel, pin back with MMD mint mark (I've also seen mirror reverse badges with LMD marks from the same period). Later badges are of a more distinctively Ukrainian design in light alloy and paint.

The document features the badge design on the cover, with the left inside in Ukrainian and the right inside in Russian. There is no area for a photo at this stage of the game.

First, the badge:

Re: Ukrainian Druzhinnik Badge

Here's a Ukrainian Excellent Druzhinnik badge... I would say from the mid '70's through the end. A more distinctly Ukrainian design (which harkens back to some of the '20's badge designs) on light alloy, paint and pin back. There is a mint mark, but I'm not sure of the factory name. This badge is in such great shape and the pin is tight in it's moorings... I'm tempted to say this is "new old stock" and was probably never issued.
