Just another one to have the entire collection of these "genuine caps", which are available in M/L/XL of course... "Brand new, but original..." ;)

As these caps are more and more showing up on E, lets nail this thread down (i cleaned it up and renamed it). Add any other variations of postwar generals/admirals/ and marshals caps you see for sale on E to this thread. This should help some of the newer collectors.

More info on these new copies would be great. I would just ask that what makes them copies is listed as well. I am not a big collector of late Soviet/Russian visors so I am not sure of the particulars to check for authenticity. Thanks clete

You are right, nevertheless this same seller offers a general´s cap with the correct embroidery material, cockade and cord. I admit it fooled me when I saw the thumbnail depicting the cap(:o). It was a marshal´s service pattern sewn in general´s bullion.

Ohhh...this is terrible, I've bought stuff from him before.
I feel like a total heel now haha.
I'm new to the militaria scene so I really dunno what to look out for, but what I got from him is good quality...despite the fact they are total fakes.

Since I am sort of new to Soviet collecting discussions such as these are invaluable. There needs to be more put on here. Fakes are every where.
