M1949 or M1955?

Is this a M1949 or M1955 uniform?

Its M1955, same as the army ones. Nice tunic.

That (as Doug says) is a M1955 tunic for (judging by the blue piping) for KGB. I have one of these tunics at home and are quite rare.

That´s a cool tunic! I have an tanks one and paid USD 71 for it. Is that a fair price?

I was curious about the buttons in the upper edges of the shoulderboards. Haven't seen such on M1955.

thats not bad at all. I paid £70 for a KGB tunic and £75 for a tank major's tunic.

Neither have I seen buttons on the shoulder boards on any M1955 parade tunic. The shoulder boards were identical in shape to M1969 shoulder boards. Bit of a strange on there...

The shoulder board as far as I can tell (from this angle anyway) seems authentic but I would need to see it at horizontal angle to be 100% sure. The button on the shoulder board looks like it is from the correct era but should definitely not appear on the shoulder board. All shoulder boards should be stitched to the shoulder (after 1949). If there were exceptions then this practice is not according to regulations and certainly not widespread.
