Comrade Kolonov during offensive battles has proven himself bold and resolute, in place with a group of scouts that he leads, has not once engaged the enemy in battle without breaking the entrenchment. The enemy in the region of the village of Obudka-Shlehtska, consolidating and entrenching along the advance line with superior forces, thereby not allowing the advance of our troops. Comrade Kolonov 18-01-45 received from the Commander the task of bursting into the village in storming to clear the enemy from the occupied advance line. Performing the assigned tasks as part of the scout group, he was one of the first to burst into the village capturing the enemy occupied advance line. The enemy 2 times counter-attacked the group of Comrade Kolonov with superior forces. But not sparing his own force or life Comrade Kolonov occupied the advance line holding it until the arrival of our units. In this battle Comrade Kolonov destroyed 17 enemy solders.

Comrade Kolonov is Worthy of the governmental award Order "Patriotic War II Class".
