Both the Defense of the Soviet Artic and Victory over Germany documents are issued to Guards Senior Lieutenant Viktor Andreevich Gurkalo. The Victory document is dated August 26th, 1945, and signed by the Commander of the 318th Guards Red Banner Infantry Regiment, Major-General Gribor'yev. Having trouble making out the date, stamp, issuing unit, & signator on the Defense of the Soviet Artic. Regardless, it is a nice set!

Your man is #5 on the AKT. Note the serial number in the right hand column (V00229298) corresponds, or should anyway, with the serial number on the reverse of the Victory over Germany document.
