Mongolian Cases.

A question was raised in another thread about cases. While it may be far from authoritative, maybe we can discuss cases here.

Here are a few specimens (while the measurements may not be "exact", I think they are "close enough":

1- 116 x 84 x 36 mm (length/width/depth). The interior is much more "maroon" than it looks in the photo, while the exterior is a medium red. And this case normally does have a ribbon "tongue" at the top, it is just that in this case (pun intended), it is mssing.

2- 98 x 63 x 33 mm. Medium red interior and exterior.

3- 85 x 64 x 30 mm. Maroon interior and exterior.

4- 78 x 57 x 27 mm.

5- 78 x 54 x 16 mm. A late plastic case used for lots of things.
