The Royal Order Of Sahametrei (គ្រឿងឥស្សរិយយសលំដាប់សហមេត្រី) was created on 9th September 1948 in three classes before being expanded to five on 23th August 1955. It became the modern award in use today by Royal Decree No. 1095/01 of 5th October 1995.

"Sahametrei" translates to something along the lines of "Friendship" or "Cooperation" and the Order is mainly granted to foreigners for feats benefiting the Kingdom Of Cambodia.

Here is the Commander Class (The mid-level class). A large and heavy chunk of brass as a necklet. Production quality isn't the finest, but it's not going to fall apart anytime.
