Diplomatic Invitations To PRC Events In Albania To Author Sterjo Spasse.

Here is a group of invitations to Albanian Author Sterjo Spase (Sterjo/Sterio Spase/Spasse depending on who is writing).

Sterjo was born on 14th August 1914 and became a teacher in the Kingdom Of Albania before becoming a school inspector. He studied literature in the Soviet Union before returning to Communist Albania and becoming a renowned national author. He died in Tirana on 12th September 1989 and has garnered a legacy of one of if not the greatest Albanian author of the 20th century.

His first invitation;

On 25th September 1961, Monday, 6pm, in the Club of writers and artists, is organised a memorial evening on the occasion of 80th anniversary of the birth of the great writer of China Lju Sin (Lu Xun).

The second invitation to "Sterjo Spasse" is from the Ambassador of the People's Republic Of China to the People's Republic Of Albania to view the artistic film "Liu Luam Luan" at the embassy on 9th August 1963 at 7.30pm.

"On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the agreement of cooperation of culture and technical-science between the People's Republic Of China and People's Republic Of Albania the supreme ambassador of the People's Republic Of China to the People's Republic Of Labnia, Shy Gjien Guo (Xu Jianguo), has the honour to invite

Comrade Sterjo Spasse for cocktails on 13th October 1964 at 1.30pm at the embassy.

The second on is basically the same except for "15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations" 23rd November 1964 at 7.30pm.

"On the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the foundation of the People's Republic Of Albania, chargé d'affaires of the ambassadors of the People's Republic Of China to the People's Republic Of Albania Van Cin Cuan is honoured to invite Comrade Sterjo Spase and wife to cocktails on 30th September 1966 at 7pm at the embassy hall A."

The second is once again from the Ambassador;

"To a dinner that will be held on 27th December 1966 at 7.30pm at the embassy" - No special event.

So is the third (Although the ambassador has changed - Geng Biao - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Later Minister Of National Defence);

"To a friendly meeting 21st December 1970 6pm at the embassy".

This is a little out of order;

I'm not sure of this date of this next one as it was issued by Chargé d'affaires Sia Siu Fen.
