A rare Voenkomat medal "XXX Years Of The Soviet Army And Navy".
There is an LMD stamp in the medal ring.

Here is an example awarded to Soldier Vasilij Iosifovich Tkachenko by Selidovo Regional Military Commissariat on 11th June 1949.

Tkachenko is a common name but there was a little luck, a 1925 Selidovo born recipient of the OPW1'85.

Here a rather obscure award. To a female Captain in the MGB. Awarded by the Armenian SSR Minister himself on the 12th January 1949. No other information available on her but it looks as though her brother was NKVD from 1934 - a family affair.

Document for the Medal for the 30th Anniversary of the Soviet Armed Forces, early black and white variant, issued to Lieutenant Colonel Vasiliy Mikhailovich Otradin on June 12th 1948 and signed by the Chief of the Military Academy of Logistics and Supply, Colonel-General Vladimir Ivanovich Vostrukov.

Document for the Medal for the 30th Anniversary of the Soviet Armed Forces issued to Petr Andreevich Sosnovskiy on January 19th, 1949, signed by the MGB Minister of the Latvian SSR, a General-Major, by his Deputy Colonel of Security, Andrej Jakovlevich Efimov.

I believe the Latvian SSR MGB document wasn't signed by the Minister himself (Major General Of Security Al'fons Andreevich Noviks) but his deputy Colonel Of Security Andrej Jakovlevich Efimov. It certainly looks like A. Efimov although he was a colonel and the deputy in 1949 (and never was the minister).

Document for the Medal for the 30th Anniversary of the Soviet Armed Forces issued to Aleksandr Pavlovich Bashenko on January 26th, 1949 by the Commander of Military Unit 35505, Colonel and Hero of the Soviet Union (#81), Victor Vladimirovich Zelentsov, who, on May 11th, 1949, was promoted to Major-General of Aviation.
