Navy Graduation badges

Guys,

This thread is for all those unknown Graduation Badges.

Here are three Navy Graduation badges, MMU, PUVT 1961-1966 and KWMU 1941-1971. Could someone please help with the identity.

Guys,

Of late I've really taken a liking to these often very nice looking items.
I'll make a start with these two with the lettering MFI and KDI.
Maybe someone can identify these ones , the translations can be put in the list of terms and abbreviations ( Researchers Corner ) for future reference.

MIFI - Moscow Institute of Physics and Engeneering; no idea what KDI stands for :(

I agree with Alexei. I have serious doubts about this divers badge. It is on the white diamond body reserved for five year academy or higher school courses. It has that modern copper alloy for the diver.

As for the top row.

My guesses are MMU = Murmansk naval school and KVVMY is Red Banner Vladivostok Higher Naval School.

I have seen one oft hose, and believe that it may be genuine despite the cheap construction. It commemorates the 45th anniversary of the Armoured Academy. Probably a special order piece.

KVVMU is Kaliningrad Higher Naval School, and it still exists today under the same name.

MMU is Murmansk Maritime School (fishing fleet).

Correct abbreviation for Murmansk Naval School is MVIMU for Murmansk Higher School of Navy Engineers.

Here is a bronze pinback, i picked up in Tashkent. Appears to be a border guard school badge of some type. Any ideas folks?

Most likely - Order of the Red Banner Highest Border Guards School named after Dzerzhinsky.
