Marc,

With respect, I disagree. This badge is 3 parts, made in LMD with 4 points of soldering (see back). The enamel is cold, like the cheap badges.

I have the picture for many years (I don't have this badge) from THE NJ area dealer. This badge was sold for more than 80 $ in 2002 if I remember correctly.

I handled this badge no later than last Saturday. When I tell you that it is made of light metal, it is because I had it in my hands.

Tal and Lapa.

I have the badge for 27th Komsomol Conference Leningrad and it is very heavy.

This badge was purchased in 1998 from the same NJ dealer.

His invoice lists the badge as:

27th Leningrad Komsomol Conference,1980s,3 piece construction,bronze,enamel

There is probably both types, one for delegates and one as a znachi.
