This is the first version, issued in 1947-1950, 1959, 1965, 1969, 1970, 1972, 1975, 1977, and 1980. Issued for exactly 279 different projects and about 1300 different people. I have never seen a document for this. Gustav Ernesaks was awarded this six times.

And the second version of Estonian SSR state prize. This was issued from 1980 to the end. Through 1985, awarded for 53 different projects to 367 people. I would estimate about 500-600 were issued. The recipients received a document and the group received 2500 roubles, one third of which went to the project leader, the balance was split among the other members. Awarded by the Estonian Communist Party, not the Supreme Soviet.
