"Master Of Sports" Title.

Here is the Title "Master Of Sports" (Սպորտի Վարպետ). A replacement for the Soviet Title. Very little information is available.

The only recipient I have yet to find is Lieutenant-Colonel Gegham Lalayan. A very decorated individual Armenian who was awarded his title as head of the Central Sports Club of Army Staff. He was also deputy chief of rear forces 1996-98. Head of the Rapid Response Rescue Squadron of the Ministry Of Emergency Situations since 2003. His personal sporting mastery is Basketball and Mountain Tourism.

Note amongst the large spread of Armenian and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic awards two wound stripes.
