Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:

During the fighting for the village of Inguletsky in the Krivoi Rog Raion on February 27th and 28th, comrade Prigornev and his group repelled a counterattack while he personally killed 6 German soldiers with his submachine gun.

During the fighting on March 15th, 1944 for the village of Novy Mir in the Novy Bug Raion, comrade Prigornev delivered intelligence about the enemy disposition and the types of enemy firing positions, on the basis of which the regimental command took the correct decision and seized the village of Novyi Mir. During this battle he personally killed 4 German soldiers.

Comrade Prigornev deserves the Order of the Red Star.
