Badge "Honoured Builder Of Komsomolsk-On-Amur 1932-1947".

Great new addition, in unworn shape. Komsomolsk on the Amur River is located in the Russian Far East, relatively near Khabarovsk, and Sakhalin. The city was built by Komsomol workers, heavily augmented with prison camp laborers. Today it's a city of 250,000. It was formerly a city restricted for foreigners from visiting, and officially still requires permission from the FSB for doing so.

The recipient of the badge, Panchenko Nikolai Isidorovich, was an employee of Gosplan and buried in the Novodevichy Cemetery. Unfortunately there's no other information about him.
