Suspect soviet badges
I'm considering purchasing the following badges. I've not dealt with this particular person before, so I'm somewhat concerned. If anyone spots one of these as an obvious fake, please let me know.
Kind Regards, Shane Cook. |

Shane,
I only have doubts about the first piece - I believe the suspension is different from what I have seen before, but I am not sure. The other three look OK to me. Nice set! Alexei |

The screw plate is obviously a replacement one, but apart from this, I can't see any differences.
I decided to buy the set in the end, and even ended up with two more. Kind Regards, Shane Cook. Last edited by scook17; 03-16-2005 at 05:13 PM. |

Nice score. I especially like the named jetons. They are an interesting collection theme by themselves. I have 2-3 of your last one, the Komsomol badge, but I haven't even been offered any of the others. That would have been a good day of collecting for me to have found those. Tonight I am supposed to pick up a pre-war Central Air Club of Georgia badge -- in reality the old bomber pilot school, for the most part -- and a Mondvor Red Star. I am looking forward to both.

Alfred,
I was worried about this two piece suspension, but like I said I was not sure. It could be a variation I haven't seen before. Alexei Quote:
