A nice booklet from Russia, with a lot of pictures and artwork.

And: (judging from the pictures, the Soviet policewomen should have issued longer coats...:p )

This is a great book. The text is in English and Russian. The pictures are clear and useful. The information covers 1919-1991. It is mostly excerpts of the official uniforms regulations. I find it most useful for the 1919-1946 period where there is almost no other source of information available. It is also good for seeing when all the minor changes in the "modern era" (1960-80s) took place.
