A recipe for Communism - Just for fun.
Here's my traditional recipe for a good old Communist staple.
You will need; One Hammer, A steel headed, wooden handled one works best but any hammer will crush fascism just as well. (Borrowing someone's best Ewing may be inadvisable.) One Sickle, Not so common to find in the 21st century but any antiquated farm will probably be able to supply you with one. (The sharp bit may not be too friendly.) One sentient being to assemble. (Opposable finger and thumb is a plus.) Have the sentient being place the two items in close proximity and leave to set. Then you have yourself a piece of ye olde Communist installation art. Served best with a glorious revolution. |

If you are fortunate to have a different hammer or sickle in the pantry too you can always "spice things up". The ball hammer can be far more effective at crushing fascism than a chipping hammer. Having both items logo free is also encouraged.

Try fertilizing the ground with some medals and see what grows?
Good to see comrade dog on-guard against capitolist wreckers!

Re: A recipe for Communism - Just for fun.
The ground in my orchard has been ravished by 9 horses over the past couple of months so it's a good bit bare (and most of the fruit trees have been pillaged). The hound is the most loyal hound you could imagine and only barks when there are strangers close by. Not quite got him trained for anti-tank yet. Along with the ball hammer and a political commissar he can be very intimidating.
I picked up this particular chipping hammer at an auction in the local town about a decade ago. A vast lot of woodworking tools from an estate for about $10 and this chipping hammer was the only stone-working tool in the lot. The sickle came from the estate auction of my next door neighbour about 4 years ago, My neighbour was in her nineties and had lived here all her life when she died so the sickle definitely has some true age and has had some true agricultural use. It cost me about $3 in a lot which contained all of the small holdings hand held tools, so I really won't be lost for tools for some time. Rotating tools cleaned off most of the rust and then a good spraying with oil and a wipe off before playing with the tools makes a positive difference. I've got a photo journal of the construction of the latest DPRK frame that I will be uploading later today... It's been all go with frames and tools recently! |

CtahhR,
You realize that you're following in the footsteps of both Tina Modotti and Andy Warhol in this project... can't show them here (copyright) but you can look them up. Bonus: Modotti ain't exactly hard to look at... Greg
