good communications badges?

What can you guys tell me about these two?
I'm pretty sure they would be 50s-era issues and if so I'd expect a stamped design with a sort of mirror reverse. If I'm right about the 50s date I'd also expect a screwpost and plate, not the 60s/70s pin.
What do you think?

Avers 8 does verify the pinback mounting system. No reverse image, alas.
Also, 'radio engineering armies for Generals and officers'

Signals Proficiency, (radar operator specialist officer) 1959 type.
I've always seen these with the pin back.

Here's a set I lost out on eBay recently. Wanted to add the images before they disappeared.
I think they are all good, and now we have seen quite a few different variations.

BTW, this set went for a whopping $75. (My high bid was $53 :( )

IMO, this should be moved to the (non-fake) badges section for reference there.

Eric, 1 and 3 could be variations I haven't encountered before, but I don't feel good about them.

It was the wear on #3, the non-mirror reverse, the uncommon(ly faked(?)) nut markings, and a gist I got on a Russian forum that had me feeling that $50 was a safe number for me. Although there certainly are red flags there as well.
Also, this came as part of a huge lot from the same seller where he a lot of good stuff and no obvious fakery.
Not that that means anything.

Wildly overpriced, IMO, at $80, especially considering the damage.

I'm adding the image just to have a reference of images for this seldom-seen signals badge that I'd really like to get.
