Hi I have just joined this forum and a I am eager to learn this subject more.
I would like to open my account with my favourite item in my collection Regards Nick This medal was awarded to Nikolai Pribytkov who joined the Red Army in 1941 at the age of 18 and was in combat in July the following year. By the summer of 1944 he was a Junior Lieutenant and had been awarded the Medal of Valour. On July 1944 he distinguished himself in the crossing of the Vistula River near Lublin serving in the 170th Rifle Regiment, 58th Rifle Division, 3rd Guards Army, 1st Ukrainian Front. He repelled several German counter-attacks setting an example of “resolve and fearlessness |
