Hello everyone, I know this is a little off topic for the USSR but I wondering if anyone knew the differents between the Russian Federation Breast Badges for Excellence? I was thinking about buying a few and I wondering what are the differents between the variations and which ones are fakes?

I believe that these are all originals. You have to remember that nowdays, Russia is a free-market economy; most badges of this sort are no longer the exclusive business of the Mint, hence their varying quality. These (and many others) are freely available for sale in any military shop.
