Diving school graduation badge

SOVIET NAVY SALVAGE/DEEP SEA DIVER SCHOOL BADGE.

46mm tall, dimond shaped badge, die struck, 3 piece construction, gilt brass & white metal w/color enamel detail, no maker marks, screw post back w/nut.

Badge looks old.

Does anyone knows what was this badge awarded for?

Divers school would seem to be the obvious answer.

But is it genuine or a fantasy piece? There is a lot of mucking about with Soviet academy and school badges these days. It looks like an early (60s) higher officer school graduation badge with the upper plaque changed to the diveing helmet.

I have never seen it in references.
