Ahh, even the digital FLORA has been upgraded several times. This must be the 3rd generation.
Quite fancy.

The uniforms as such look nice (altough I am not a fan of velcro), but the camouflage still seams to be uneffective at greater distances. They relly should redesign it - the idea of digital camo is good, but this one is not the best ofthem.

Yes, could have fooled me... But than again, I'm not even close of being an expert on contemporary uniforms ;)

Well, it better be slow, so that we don't do a mistake like the last time... (A lot of soldiers got frost-damages because the Chinese factory producing the material had failed a some point so the isolation weren't as successful from the Russian "drawing board" till the 'finished' product.

Also, I asked a friend of mine, he's the one who knows the most about Soviet/Russian combat gear around, about the American ACU being replaced, and he said something interesting that I've never thought about: "The ACU was copied from Canadian CADPAT which came first, and Canada copied from TTsMKK which came way before theirs."

That would prove that the Digital FLORA is just the revolutionized version of the old "трёхцветный маскировочный камуфлированный комбинезон" camo.

@USSR; Different Spetsnaz units actually use a Russian-made Flecktarn, which is simply called Flecktarn. It is 'officially' "Russian" :thumbsup
