Re: Russian Transport Lines Officer's Cap

You did not read the information about the Russian Transport Lines.
"... holding the leading position at the market of customs clearance of cars and other vehicles"
I believe it is Customs cap.

We have that kind of services in Finland too, I guess all over the world - companies that do the paperwork for customers and do the communication with the customs when necessary ("customs clearance"). Would RTL really perform customs duties that include need for such militaristic uniforms?

Re: Russian Transport Lines Officer's Cap

i my self was more thinking of a sailing uniformed officer or so.
if it is a real RTL cap i can imagine the sailing officers having a uniform.
although the color would be weird.

Re: Russian Transport Lines Officer's Cap

yahoo !!!

i finely got this cap in today.

it is beautifull, but upclose there are some things i have never seen before.

the badge:
it is clued , the clue is not really good cause if i pull it a little it gives way.
i will let it be as is for now.

the buttons:
they are russian federation dated both 07.

collor :
it is Kgb blue band with pure white top, more so than a militia sumer cap.

construction :
thats the weirdest thing.
it is build like a proper soviet general cap.
but the materials used is weird.
the overall feel is really collide but far less heavy than other caps.
the blue is just the same as on kgb caps nothing wierd there.
the top is made of some light weight very breathable material. it is i think cotton.
the inner lining is made of some kinda silk , witch you can easiely see through.
if i hold the cap in front of light i can see straight trough.
the leather material is of real good quality.
the size is done with a sticker on the sweat diamond.

i shall try to post good picks sone.
maybe i do them just after this post.

kind regards ser-g

Re: Russian Transport Lines Officer's Cap

Don't really know if it's any help but I had this hat a while ago;
It was made 1992 in Moscow.
Even if it's exactly like the militia hat but KGB/FSB colour I havn't seen it before.
