Kremlin Guard Cap Badge?

I have seen this badge described as a cap badge of the Kremlin Guard.
However, I have also seen on this Forum the badge that depicts what appears to be a missile and crossed swords designated as the Kremlin Guard badge.
Is this one supposed to be a current version? A fantasy item?

This is a badge made for the current FSO.
Looks like the Kremlin regiment badge but is not.

No,it is the breast badge worn by Honor Guard officers.

Here's a stamped metal (brass) version of the embroidered badge pictured in post#6. I picked it up in a lot awhile back. Standard cap-type "bendable prongs/slats" in the back.

Here's a picture that displays various emblems and insignia for the Kremlin Regiment from 1970 - Mid 1990s. In 1987 the visor hat received a badge pinned to the crown. Prior to that the visor hat didn't have a special badge pinned to the crown, but in 1987 they received their own special hat badge (and you can first see them during the 1987 October Revolution parade, theres some nice shots of the changing of the guards marching out as the parade commands to march are being given). I suppose this was done to make them "equal" to other Army honor guard units. I'm also posting a photo of a Kremlin Guard with Starshina rank. Note the sleeve patch, its the usual theromolded plastic type seen on other enlisted ranks (also take note at the patch shown in the insignia photo, its the thermomolded type as well). They appear to have never worn special embroided sleeve patches, but used the typical thermomolded patches.

I also have a visor cap with the attached cap badge that Greg Collins pictured in post #7. What is it? Is a Kremlin Guard or Honor Guard cap device? :confused:

Pictured in post 7 is an Army Guard of Honor cap badge. The Kremlin Guards received their own special cap badge in 1987, and theirs was different looking. Theres had a Red Star of one of the Kremlin tower spires depicted in it.
