Here's a blank document that goes with the "excellent Soviet consumer cooperative" badge. This strange little award has always been enigmatic for me. Even the quote from Lenin (inside left) is odd: "Cooperatives - a vast cultural heritage which needs to be cherished and enjoyed." The way it was explained to me was that someone could be awarded this for buying above his or her quota of state goods. I can't vouch for the accuracy of that, but it makes sense, especially in the awarding-happy 1980s.

I have the same badge as above and this one which just has a different center color of gray. (I forgot to compress that picture before I uploaded it.:o) Both badges have the LMD mint mark - the blue centered one with the older, simple "ЛМД" and the gray centered one below has the later circular style mark.

Yuri: I wasn't sure whether it was "student" / "pupil" in this context so I went with "excellent." Student makes it sound like a course someone could take - was that the case?
