Lieutenant Colonel Emil Sikora, Laryngologist

Here is a possibly complete group to Lieutenant Colonel Doctor Emil Sikora. He received his doctorate in 1955 and was head of the department of Laryngology at the 2nd Military District Hospital in Torun. Dr. Sikora died at the age of 92 on 30th August 2013.

Firstly we have his 12th October 1956 Bronze Medal "Armed Forces For Long Service" (for 5 years service) whilst still a Captain

25th September 1965 Silver Medal "Armed Forces For Long Service" (for 15 years service).

31st March 1967 issued 31st March 1963 awarded Gold Cross Of Merits - a 4 year catch up!

12th October 1970 Gold Medal "Armed Forces For Long Service" (for 20 years service).
7th September 1973 Cavalier's Cross Order Of Polish Rebirth.

He's the cool chap at the back right sporting sunglasses in this 1972 dated picture. His 4 current ribbons can be seen. Not bad to say he was c50 years old at the time.
