Assistance Identifying Unknown Banner Please

Hello all, when I was in Ukraine back in the late 90's I started collecting Orders and Medals, and also picked up this banner in 1999 or so. It's velvet, embroidered, and about the size of my Queen sized bed. Since I can't read Russian, I've always wondered what it says? I assume it's some sort of competition banner or school banner, but whatever it is, it's very cool! If anyone has an idea what the flag is for, and/or what it says, I would be greatful. Now if my wife would only let me hang it in the living room...

This is the "front" side, with a close up of Lennin's eye. I'll use another post for the "back". Thanks/Jim

Jim, it's a beautifully made flag.:thumbsup

Is this a sort of Marxism-Leninism "prep school?"

Phillip, I wish I could tell you more about the school itself, but I'm not familiar with it. Since I picked up the banner in 1999 or 2000, and the banner is in really nice shape, I don't think it's very old. So my guess is that the banner came down shortly after Ukrainian independence was declared in 1991. Ukrainians were embracing their own culture, language, and history, and you could find some pretty good deals on just about anything with Lenin on it. Even full size statues!
Those were the days...ORB's for 13 USD!

Which is why if one of our esteemed colleagues would translate the text I can't make out exactly (i.e., all of it:rolleyes:), I would be extremely grateful since Ukrainian keeps me banging my head because I get just enough of it to irritate me since I know it isn't exact.:banghead :)

It's okay, I'm...
