Nedzvetskij, Anton Petrovich, Arable Farmer
Hello- I am excited to share my newest civil group in a while. A beautiful combination of awards. Can the name be de deciphered? Based upon the dates, are there decrees that give hints toward this person’s career? I know that during this period, their military counterparts were awarded for long service. Were civil orders presented for long service as well?

Yes, I believe the decree dates may render an idea of their profession. No, I don't believe these were presented for "long-service". Last edited by Bill Garvy; 12-20-2018 at 09:58 AM. |

The Decree of 13th June 1952 relates to grain harvesting, the second one can not be found, so is possibly written with an error.
Possibly for 20 and 25 years service to farming, possibly not. There was a famous Tadjik Geologist with the same name, awarded both these Orders for 20 and 25 years service, but I don't think it's the same person. He's would be slightly later and there are no geology decrees on these dates.

This is likely a coincidence - all the "bear" names in all variations are rather common.
Theoretically, this could as well be this man's father: http://soviet-awards.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134103 As the first name and surname fit, but it is unlikely that his family stayed in the USSR. |
